| The Multifold is provided with two folding beams,one for positive bendings and one for negative bendings up to a maximum of +/- 135º. Through a mechanism the upper and lower beam are positioned (patent announced), as a result of which Z-bendings will be made without turning the plate. Both beams will be driven high-dynamicly by AC-servomotors. The holddown is CNC positioned through hydraulic cylinders, as a result of which it is also possible to flatten a 135° converted side in the shape of a folded seam. With this, there can also be given a free programmable space. |
